The 2nd wine of Chateau Bonalgue - a small property sighted on the sandy gravel soils just to the north-east of Libourne, founded in 1815 as 'Clos Bonalgue', changing it's name in 1969. Since 1926 the estate has been owned by the Bourotte family. Produced form 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc from the estate's younger vines, Beausejour de Bonalgue is a forward, young drinking Pomerol with vibrant berry fruit flavours and silky tannins.
