Domaine Pouderoux Maury 2012 (50cl)
- Out of stock
Robert Pouderoux's family have been vignerons in Maury since 1826. The vineyard is situated in the heart of Maury. The vines are very old and planted with a mix of Carignan (planted in 1901), Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre planted on granite soil. All the wines receive barrel age, picking is by hand and there is no fining or filtration. These are intense very fine wines. The exotic Maurys go well with chocolate, cheese, fruit and even ice cream! Made from Grenache from 30 - 50yr vines, this is a beautiful garnet red colour, with aromas of red fruits, cherry and blackberry. Generous and well balanced in the mouth. Full-bodied and well-structured: good tannins combined with a red fruit taste.
