Tasting notes - An intense ruby red wine delivering concentrated aromas of cherry fruit. Soft and medium-bodied with a smooth, fresh fruit palate, this is elegant in its simplicity.
Cantina Bonacchi, founded in 1965, is a family owned winery that is situated in the heart of the Montalbano Hills, that lie between the towns of Florence and Pistoia in Tuscany and has been making fine Tuscan wines for 3 generations. The family owns 40 hectares of vineyards in the Chianti Montalbano and Chianti Classico Gallo Nero as well as 10 hectares divided between Brunello DOCG, Rosso di Montalcino DOC and the Sant'Antino DOC, and 15 hectares from Montecucco DOC vines. The family's mission is to produce quality wines at great prices. This blend of 85% Sangiovese with 15% Canaiolo and Malvasia del Chianti grapes is a smooth, medium-bodied wine with good concentration of red fruit with cherry tones. A very drinkable style. Serve at 16-18C to accompany roast meats and meat pasta dishes. Suitable for Vegetarians.

Returns
Online and Mail Order Purchases
We hope that you will enjoy your Steep Hill Wines purchase, but if you find it unsuitable or you are not entirely satisfied, please ensure that you notify us 01522 544737 or by email at enquiries@steephillwines.com to enable us to process your return. All such notification should take place within 28 days, to enable us to accept them for a refund. Replacement or refund will not be made until the original item has been returned to us unused and undamaged in their original packaging.
We cannot give refunds in the following cases:
- Items returned after 28 days.
- Damaged items not notified by telephone to us within 3 days.
Goods returned are at your own expense. We recommend that you use Recorded Delivery or a Courier so that you have proof of despatch.
