Tasting notes - A softly coloured rosé with intense aromas of wild cherries and raspberries, combined with an attractive hint of Mediterranean maquis - the local aromatic shrubland. Elegantly styled and slightly off-dry, with a refreshing finish
The San Marzano Primitivo vineyard is located in Salento, Puglia and is situated at
approximately 100 metres above sea level. The area is characterised by high
average temperatures and a medium-low rainfall. The vines are planted at a density
of 4,500 per hectare. The soft soil layer is clayey and quite thin, with a good
presence of rocks, providing good drainage for the vines. Harvesting takes place
during the first week of September.
Skin contact maceration took place for several hours, followed by a partial drawing
off the must. Fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks,
preserving the aromatics and fruitiness of the Primitivo variety. Ageing then continued
in stainless steel to retain freshness.

All such notification should take place within 28 days, to enable us to accept them for a refund. Replacement or refund will not be made until the original item has been returned to us unused and undamaged in their original packaging.
We cannot give refunds in the following cases:
- Items returned after 28 days.
- Damaged items not notified by telephone to us within 3 days.
Goods returned are at your own expense. We recommend that you use Recorded Delivery or a Courier so that you have proof of despatch.
