Plantation Pineapple Rum

If you're into pineapple, look no further. The flavour is pretty obvious, but here's how they do it:

  1. Take the rind of a Queen Victoria pineapple
  2. Macerate rind with the 3* white house rum (about 1 week)
  3. Add the flesh of the pinapple and the Plantation Dark Rum at the same time of distilling the white rum.
  4. The pulp is given 3 months to fully permeate into the dark rum
  5. Blend white and dark rum together

Incidentally, if you wanted to try this with pineapple from the supermarket, it probably won't work! 40% ABV (80 Proof)
