The Patres Barolo is fermented in stainless steel with a 12 day maceration on the skins. It is then aged for 26 months in large casks made of Slovenian oak. Spices and dried flowers on the nose. The palate
is smooth and mouth-filling, with sweet, ripe tannins giving great structure. Enjoy with game, braised veal, stewed meat, grilled fillet and meat or mature cheeses. Can be cellared and will improve over the course of 10 years.
