Online and Mail Order Purchases
We hope that you will enjoy your Steep Hill Wines purchase, but if you find it unsuitable or you are not entirely satisfied, please ensure that you notify us 01522 544737 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org to enable us to process your return. All such notification should take place within 28 days, to enable us to accept them for a refund. Replacement or refund will not be made until the original item has been returned to us unused and undamaged in their original packaging.
We cannot give refunds in the following cases:
- Items returned after 28 days.
- Damaged items not notified by telephone to us within 3 days.
Goods returned are at your own expense. We recommend that you use Recorded Delivery or a Courier so that you have proof of despatch.
Prices include VAT at the current rate of 20.0% and exclude delivery charges.
We do our best to ensure that all of our wines are shown with their correct labels and / or bottle shots. All glassware and giftware shown in their correct colour and finish, but there may some variation in finishes on handmade products. Different monitors and screens also vary enormously, so if you have any queries regarding colour or finish on any of our products, please telephone us on +44 (0) 1522 544737 Monday to Saturday between 10am and 5.00pm or email to email@example.com and we will try to help.
Steep Hill Wines is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use information given at the time of ordering or when making an enquiry by whatever means is collected lawfully and in accordance with the data Protection act 1998. WE DO NOT PASS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ON TO THIRD PARTIES.
All transactions that you initiate with Steep Hill Wines on this website are confidential. Your name will not be added to any third party mailing lists.

It will not be disclosed to any other organisation unless you give explicit permission, or where there is a legal obligation to do so. We collect information about you for two main reasons:

These Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We are required by law to inform you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.

We have made every possible effort to describe products accurately. However mistakes in spelling and text can occur. Steep Hill Wines is not liable for any consequent loss whether this arises from breach of duty in contract or any other way. Liability for any claim shall not exceed the price of goods supplied. Your statutory rights are not affected and remain as they do in our retail shop.
